Flooding in Malaysia

A villagers used a boat to see their home submerged by floodwater at Kota Bharu district of Kelantan, Malaysia, 28 December 2014. The Malaysian government described this flood as the worst in 30 years, at least five people were killed and more than 118,000 people have sought shelter in the hundreds of evacuation centers opened by the government. Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak is to cut short a holiday in the United States to deal with major floods at home after coming under fire for spending time golfing with US President Barack Obama in Hawaii during the floods.
