Paper Pandas on Display

A general view shows part of the 1,600 paper pandas displayed in front of Sultan Abdul Samad building, a Malaysian iconic building, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 21 December 2014. The Paper pandas were created by French artist Paulo Grangeon, who crafted 1,600 pandas. The creations, which were made in six different shape and size, will visit more than 15 iconic landmarks in Malaysia under the theme “Initiating the Culture of Creative Conservation”. The tour will run from 21 December 2014 to 25 January 2015 to promote the message of panda conservation and sustainable development. The 1,600 paper pandas mark the number of the current living pandas left in the wild. (Photo by Azhar Rahim/EPA)
