Belty, a smart belt from Paris-based Emiota, is displayed at CES Unveiled, the opening event for the media preview days at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show, January 4, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Belty, the worlds first connected belt, monitors the wearers waistline measurements and advises when it is time to lose weight. Belty will also automatically loosen when the wearer sits and tighten when the wearer stands. Belty is made entirely in France – a wearable tech item that is also a fashion statement.
