A rescued female grizzly bear lies in the snow in its new habitat at New York's Central Park Zoo January 9, 2015. The Central Park Zoo introduced to the public two new inhabitants on Friday, grizzly bears Betty and Veronica, who were rescued in 1995 by the Wildlife Conservation Society. They are living in a remodeled habitat previously occupied by polar bear Gus who died in 2013. According to the Society both bears had become too accustomed to humans, and local authorities considered them a danger to people. (Photo by Brendan McDermid/Reuters)
