The Week in Pictures: April 10 – April 17, 2015. Part 5/6

Nastia Pokolo, 74, takes water from an old well near her house in the village of Babinets, southwest of the capital Minsk, April 17, 2015. Pokolo, one of just three residents of the village situated in a remote region near the Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park and about 10 km (6 miles) away from the border with Poland, lives alone separately from her daughter's and two sons' families. Nastia keeps livestock to help her relatives and provide them with food. The elderly woman's family faced financial problems due to a difficult economic situation in the country which, according to Pokolo, is also connected with the slide of the Rouble currency in neighboring Russia.
