Rollie Leonberger, 50, shows where he said he found a woman in Jefferson County, Mo., Thursday, July 2, 2015. The creek had flooded and swept the woman's car off the road. Leonberger found her several hundred yards downstream. “I don't know how I heard her screaming over the noise of the flood and the rain”, said Leonberger. ”The water was up over her waist when I found her”, he said. Hillsboro firefighters rescued the woman, who had been holding on to the tree for over an hour according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
