This adorable baby sloth is being raised with the help of a teddy bear at London Zoo on August 5, 2015. After being rejected by its mother workers at the facility began using the cuddly toy as a surrogate parent. The sweet faced, two-toed sloth is named after Johnny Depp's role in the Edward Scissorhands movie – because of its four-inch-long claws. Eddie is being hand-reared by a zookeeper, Kelly-Anne Kelleher. “To help build up the muscles that Edward would normally use holding on to his mother, Kelly-Anne customised his sloth-teddy so that it can be hung from a branch”, said a rep from the zoo. “That allows the youngster to climb on, and strengthen his little limbs”.
