Check out these rare Clouded Leopard kittens as they make their public debut at Zoo Miami September 10, 2015. The six-month-old female sisters Malee and Suree are cubs to mother Serai and will initially be part of an exhibit just two days a week. Staff at the tourist attraction in Miami, Florida, say the little cats by nature are shy and secretive, so they've been kept secluded in a den with their mother since being born in March. Because of this, their introduction to their new surroundings will be a slow process. Led out into the open air exhibit by their mother on Wednesday (sept 9), the striking creatures at first hesitated to enter. But staff say after several minutes, they ventured out and began to climb up the sides of the enclosure and explore. The rare species is native to China, Taiwan and Malaysia. Adults usually weigh between 30 to 50 pounds and they have a very long tail with relatively short legs and large paws. (Photo by: Zoo Miami/Splash News)
