The Day in Photos – December 3, 2015

A Christmas decoration representing a shooting star is pictured under the Dole summit in Cheserex, Switzerland December 1, 2015. The installation, 160m wide and 75m high with a linear length of about 800m, is attached every summer to the rocks under the radar station on top of the Dole summit (1677m - 5500 ft) by its instigator Stephane Richard and a team of 20 volunteers. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the installation that can be seen most clearly near Nyon between Lausanne and Geneva, it will be lit until January 6, 2016. (Photo by Denis Balibouse/Reuters)
