Workers move one of the drawing spheres, which will be used for the Christmas Lottery draw on 22 December, as it is set up at the Royal Opera House, in Madrid, Spain, 14 December 2015. The traditional Spanish Christmas Lottery “El Gordo” (The Fat One) will share out a total of 2.24 billion euros that will be divided in 24,486,400 prizes. The main prize per ticket are 400,000 euros for the first prize; 125,000 for the second; 50,000 for the third; 20,000 for the fourth; and 6,000 for the fifth. The big sphere contains a total of 100,000 wooden balls with the lottery numbers with a smaller sphere containing a total of 1,807 wooden balls with the prizes' quantities.
