A picture made available on 02 February 2016 shows Taiwanese artist Chien-chu Lee, carving a “Monkey King” from the tip of a pencil lead to mark the Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations, in Yunlin County, Taiwan, 31 January 2016. The Chinese Lunar New Year, or Spring Festival, which falls on 08 February this year, will mark the Year of the Monkey. Lee is an engineer who spends his spare time carving pencil leads as a hobby. “It began about five years ago. I was carving bamboo chopsticks for my children, when a friend suggested me to carve on pencil lead. So I began, and then I became addicted to it.
