Auctioneer Alexandre Giquello looks at the sculpture “Le Baiser” (The Kiss), bronze cast made in 1927, which is part of an exceptional sale of five remarkable bronzes by the French sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840-1917), displayed in Paris, France, February 11, 2016. Five small bronze statues of French 19th century sculptor Auguste Rodin will be auctioned in Paris next week, including a cast of his famous “The Kiss”, which is estimated to go for at least 1.5 million euros. The five statues, which will be auctioned at auction house Drouot on Tuesday, come from the collection of late French art dealer Jean de Ruaz and have owned by his family since after World War II.
