Filipino students burn mocks of Chinese vessels during a protest against China's aggression in the South China Sea in Manila, Philippines, 03 March 2016. According to the student group's statement, they denounced China's aggression and criticized the Philippine government for their lack of action and decisiveness defending the islands. Chinese vessels were spotted near a Philippine atoll prompting Manila to urge China on 02 March to exercise self-restraint in the South China Sea, where Beijing claims several territories administered by neighbouring countries. Five gray-and-white Chinese ships were seen last week anchored off the west of the country at Jackson Atoll, locally called Quirino Atoll, Mayor Eugenio Bito-onon of Kalayaan municipality said.
