The Day in Photos – April 30, 2016, Part 1/2

A picture made available on 29 April 2016 shows one of 19 Roman amphoras discovered in the town of Tomares, near Seville, containing around 600 kg of bronze and silver coins dating from the 4th century, in Seville, southern Spain, 28 April 2016. The amphoras, unearthed during excavation works for an electric main close to Zaudin Park in Tomares, are full with coins that are being examined by archeologists from Seville. The coins may have been part of a tax collection or levies paid to the army, according to first theories of experts. (Photo by Jose Manuel Vidal/EPA)
