A Look at Life in Myanmar

A picture made available on 02 May 2016 shows a Burmese woman throwing fish, mostly Tuna, on a cloth for drying, near Ngapali beach, Thandwe township of Rakhine State, western Myanmar, 01 May 2016. Thousands of people from villages around Ngapali beach rely on fishing as their primary income. Over one hundred fishing boats, each holding up to 15 fishermen, go out into the sea in the evening and fish throughout the night. Every morning, when the boats return with their catch, the beach is filled with people carrying baskets, sorting and preparing fish for drying. Most of the fish is dried as the region is too remote to transport fresh fish to major cities. (Photo by Lynn Bo Bo/EPA)
