South Africans gather in support of the #BlackLivesMatter movement outside the US embassy in Cape Town, South Africa, 13 July 2016. The protest organised by the Black Solidarity Movement handed over a memorandum to a representative of the US embassy saying US citizens are not welcome in South Africa and warned the US against killing black people in America and elsewhere. The protestors were initially prevented from nearing the embassy but later allowed access to the entrance of the embassy where they met a representative under a heavy police presence.
