Children stand outside a house connected to a electric grid in Bugara on July 17, 2016. The vast majority of the Congolese population doesn't have access to electricity, and the small portion of the inhabitants that are connected to the grid are suffering frequent and long breakdowns. In the case of the village of Bugara, electricity is produced by the dam of Matebe, a project from the Virunga Alliance for a sustainable development in the surroundings of the Virunga National Park.
