Restorers work on the 42 square meters fresco “Flora mit Genien” (Flora with Genii), which was painted directly onto the ceiling in the vestibule of the Sanssouci Palace by Swedish painter Johann Harper (1688-1746), at the Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, Germany, 11 August 2016. The Sanssouci palace was built by Prussian painter and architect Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff (1699-1753) for the use of the summer residence of Prussian King Frederick the Great (1712-1786) following the King's ideas and sketches. The fresco is being restored until October. (Photo by Bernd Settnik/EPA)
