In this photograph taken on October 2, 2016, a caretaker collects dogs in a pen of a dog shelter in Thanlyin, on the outskirts of Yangon city in preparation for relocation to a new centre to accomodate more dogs. About 300 mostly stray dogs housed in the overcrowded private run animal shelter were moved to a new location. Yangon city government and a private organization is struggling to control the overpopulation of street dogs in the former capital city.
