People in India's capital city are struggling with heavily polluted air after smoke released from fireworks set off during the Diwali celebrations last weekend still lingers in the air of the metropolis. The air has forced many local schools – especially those run by the government – to close for the day and the Delhi government put a ban on construction and demolition works for five days.
