Harmony Gabriel (her prostitute name), 20, is the top earner on November 18, 2010 at the Love Ranch, a brothel located on the outskirts of Carson City, the state capital of Nevada, where prostitution is legal. “I am every man's dream”, she says, “the girlfiend that they will never have”. Gabriel makes over $100,000 a year, after a 50% split with the brothel's manager. A prostitute since she was 16, Gabriel choose the profession because “the money is great”. Several women working at the Love Ranch, however, used to lead regular lives (U.S. Amy soldier, stay at home mom) but have resorted to prostitution beause of the current economic crisis in the United States.
