Javan Gibbon “Owa Jawa” (Hylobates moloch) seen after release at Tilu Mountain on May 17, 2017 in West Java, Indonesia. Owa Jawa are endemic animals of West Java. Based on the latest census data it is known that the population of 'Owa Jawa' in the nature ranges from 2.140 to 5.310 tail with high extinction threat level. The population of 'Java Owa' continues to decrease annually due to forest destruction and poaching activities. In addition, the nature of Java's monogamous Javanese monastery and giving birth to just one baby every three years is increasingly threatening. (Photo by Jefta Images/Barcroft Images)
