American daredevil stunt motorcyclist Evel Knievel crashes spectacularly at Wembley Stadium in London, May 26, 1975. Knievel crashed attempting to set a new record by jumping over 13 London buses. After the crash he told the 70,000 spectators, “You are the last people to see me jump. I will never jump again and that's true”. He was taken to a hospital in London.
