Some Vintage Photos, Part 1/2

Thousands of people pass the White House in Washington on Saturday, October 11, 1992 during a candlelight march to honor people with AIDS. The 15-acre grid of the AIDS memorial quilt, which has 22,000 commemorative panels, is located nearby. Friends and family members lined up at a 50-foot-long string of tables to present new panels commemorating more people who have died of the disease. (Photo by Ron Edmonds/AP Photo)
