The village of Sade, which is located about 60 kilometers from the epicenter of the island of Lombok, is one of the indigenous tribes of the island of Lombok with houses and buildings that are still made of wood which is certainly earthquake resistant. The impact of the earthquake was felt in the village of Sade with a reduction of foreign and local tourists more than 70 percent. According to media reports, a 7.0 magnitude quake hit Indonesia's island of Lombok on 05 August, killing at least 321 people. Reports state on 09 August 2018 that Lombok has been hit by a strong tremor which the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said the latest quake had a magnitude of 5.9 and has caused structural damage.
