A Look at Life in Bangladesh

Monsoon rains hit the refugee camps August 28, 2018 in Unchiprang refugee camp, Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh. UN investigators said on Monday that Myanmar's army had carried out genocide against the Rohingya in Rakhine state and that its top military figures must be investigated for crimes against minorities across the country. The UN report accused Myanmar's military for murders, imprisonments, enforced disappearances, torture, rapes and other forms of sexual violence in Rakhine state, all of which constitute crimes against humanity, as a wave of violence forced more than 720,000 Rohingya to flee into the Cox's Bazar district of Bangladesh one year ago.
