UK Landscape Photographer of the Year 2018

Ice spikes, Glencoe, by Pete Rowbottom: “I had set out to shoot sunrise upriver and, with the freezing weather, I was hoping to find frozen pools of ice with radiating lines that I could use as foreground. The sunrise wasn’t the best but walking along the river I saw this unusual and dramatic formation, and knew I had my spot”. Overall winner.
