An angry protestor confronts French Riot Police after peaceful demonstrations, which were part of National General Strike along the Rue de Rivoli, turned violent on February 05, 2019 in Paris, France. The strike, led by the CGT Union, with four other unions also taking part, is in answer to President Macron’s Great National Debate and calls for a rise in the national minimum wage and for fair taxation, claims also held by the Gilets Jaunes, and may be the start of another routine called “Les mardis d'urgence socialist” (the social emergency Tuesdays).
