Lord Mayor Elect William Russell, soon to become the 692nd Lord Mayor of the City of London, rides in the Lord Mayor of London’s State Coach drawn by six shire horses as it prepares to leave Guildhall Yard during an early morning dawn rehearsal run on November 06, 2019 in London, England. The State Coach is the world's oldest ceremonial vehicle still in use and has been used in every Lord Mayor's Show since 1757. This coming Saturday it will be used to transport Lord Mayor William Russell over the three miles procession route of the show. William Russel will take his position on Friday 8th November.
