A Look at Life in Thailand

A Thai couple seen taking pictures next to a tiger in the tourist attraction “Tiger Kingdom” on September 21, 2019 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Despite the Wildlife authorities effort to raided a Buddhist temple (Tiger Temple) from Kanchanaburi Province in 2016, where 137 tigers were kept and freed them into the wild 3 years later, where about 86 of them already died due to radical life change (captivity to the wild) animal abuse is still a common things in Thailand where other tigers still remain kept in small cages like in this 'Tiger Kingdom' tourist attraction complex, where tigers are under sedative to let the tourists took pictures next to them the whole day. Many animals are used in shows across the world, for the purpose of financial gain and entertainment, despite the objections of animal rights defenders. World Animal Day, an international day of action for animal rights and welfare celebrated annually on October 4. The mission of World Animal Day, is “To raise the status of animals in order to improve welfare standards around the globe. Building the celebration of World Animal Day unites the animal welfare movement, mobilising it into a global force to make the world a better place for all animals”.
