A Belarussian woman in traditional clothing cut and binds first sheaves during “Zazhinki” rite reconstruction in the village Zhoravka, some 170 km from Minsk, Belarus, 10 July 2016. Zazhinki rite is a start of harvesting in Slavic culture. Women cut and bind first sheaves in a field, asking God to help them, complaining about hard work and asking to give them good harvest next year. After rituals, they creep under their crescents and roll in a field, asking for a pain relief in their backs. People believed, that thanks to the rite grain field becomes fertile and ears grow ripe and become heavier. (Photo by Tatyana Zenkovich/EPA)
