A Look at Life in Thailand, Part 2/2

Approximately 1,000 unemployed Thai people wait in line to apply for the three month, 5,000 baht, financial aid promised by the Ministry of Finance on May 7, 2020 in Bangkok, Thailand. This complaint center allows Thai people who are unemployed due to the coronavirus pandemic, and who did not receive direct deposits, to submit their bank information to the Ministry of Finance. If approved, each will receive 5,000 Baht (approx. $154 USD) for 3 months. Thailand is slowly lifting restrictions after being locked down for over one month in an effort to stop the spread of Covid-19. (Photo by Lauren DeCicca/Getty Images)
