Forestry police officers seized of White-eye birds or as known Pleci birds (zosterops japonicus) to be released into the wild in the Sibolangit Nature Park, North Sumatra, amid fears of the Covid-19 virus on May 8, 2020. As is known, confiscation of this bird species is not protected, but because during the transportation process is not equipped with official documents that accompany it, to take advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic situation to solving down on environmental crimes. Not accompanied by official documents, 1,266 pleci birds with 556 conditions including dead and then buried , while 710 is still alive and released into the wild.
