According to a decree of the Russian President, 135,000 people will be sent to the army during the spring call-up. Amid the pandemic Covid-19 disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, since 20 May 2020 Russian military recruiting offices have begun sending recruits of the spring army call-up to the army, keeping in line with strict sanitary measures. All conscripts are necessarily tested for coronavirus COVID-19 infection, their relatives are not allowed to the sites of the ceremony of taking the military oath by conscripts.
