USA last Week, Part 1/2

Luis de Jesus (The Joker of New York), 38, form Williamsburg Brooklyn, works in construction on July 12, 2020 in New York, NY. “I'm from Brooklyn, but I ended up living most of my life upstate in the department of corrections. Drug addiction, crime, bad decisions, no parental guidance, always influenced by the streets I made decisions as a kid thinking I was grown, but I had the judgement of a child, I made decisions that were not very bright. I spent 21 years in prison, but that's all behind me now. I got myself 5 years clean off heroin now. But I got laid off, so I'm here now. All matters matters, I don't believe in colors”. Occupy City Hall, where a group of Black Lives Matter protesters have gathered to protest police brutality and racial injustice. In recent days the camp has been made up of homeless people, which the organizers say they support. (Photo by Stephen Yang/The New York Post)
