Elementary school pupils attend the first school day during the new school year begins in Poland at the 22nd Primary School in Tychy, Poland, 01 September 2020. Some 4.6 million elementary and high school students from almost 22,000 schools started the new school year in Poland on 01 September. For 367,000 pupils it will be their first year in school. With the beginning of the new 2020/2021 school year, schools, which from mid-March to the end of June applied remote teaching due to the COVID-19 epidemic, are returning to full-time, stationary education.
