Activists protest against the joint inspection with pro-Russian militants representatives the Ukrainian army positions in the area of the inhabited locality of Shumy which was planned on 10 September because it legalizes them like the subject of conflict and moves Russia from conflict side to observer status. The participants in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) meeting agreed on a joint inspection in the area of the inhabited locality of Shumy with the participation of representatives of the OSCE coordinator and pro-Russian militants on 09 September. The joint inspection has been suspended on 10 September due the Ukrainian side had received a number of demands that contradict each other, as well as distorting the nature of the ceasefire agreements and humiliating the OSCE as a reliable and objective mediator as the presidential office reported.
