An Andean condor (Vultur gryphus) flies at the Purace National Natural Park in Purace, Colombia, on February 13, 2021. The condor is a sacred bird for indigenous communities in Colombia. Ancestrally is considered the “Messenger of the sun” and the indigenous wise men assure that the condor sends them messages about different events of the indigenous communities.
