Hindu boy face is painted colourfully by an artist as they attend and celebrate Bengali New Year festival called Gajan in West Bengal state of India on April 11, 2021. Gajan associated with gods as Shiva, Neel and Dharmathakur. this festival spans around a week time, starting from the last week of Choitro continuing till the end of the Bengali New Year. Participants of this festival are known as Sannyasi or Bhokta. The central theme of this festival is to derive satisfaction through non-sexual pain, devotion and sacrifice.
