An aerial photo shows Panama-registered cargo ship Crimson Polaris (39,910 tons) which the hull broke off the coast of Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, northern Japan, on August 12, 2021. At around 4:15 am on the same day, the cargo ship hit a rock and was broken in two, and its oil is leaking. All 21 crew members were rescued.
