USA last Week, Part 2/2

A sanderling covered in oil is treated at the Wildlife & Wetlands Center in Huntington Beach on October 7, 2021. Environmental crews are spreading out across Huntington Beach to clean up the damage from a major oil spill off the Orange County coast that spoiled beaches, killed fish and birds and now threatens local wetlands. The oil slick is believed to have originated from a pipeline leak, pouring 126,000 gallons into the coastal waters and seeping into the Talbert Marsh. (Photo by Allen J.
