Kyrgyz riders participate in the traditional Central Asian sport “Kok-Boru” (goat dragging), in the village of Besh-Kungei, some 20 kilometers from the capital Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, 30 January 2022. Kok-boru is a game that is believed to date back from as far as the 10th century when nomadic horse people tribes migrated the regions of Central Asia. Also known by various names in different countries Kok-boru is played by rider teams on horseback grabbing a goat carcass from the ground and try to score by placing it in the opponent's goal.
