A Look at Life in Malaysia

Members of the Kuala Lumpur Freefly group gather with their macaws during free fly session in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 10 April 2022. Free fly session organized by Kuala Lumpur FreeFly (KLFF) group to spread positive vibes among bird lovers for the good of this endangered animal is applied to each member so that there is no comparison of differences between each macaw. Daily treatment should be given to these birds at least 1 hour a day including training time. Smart birds need daily training from trick training, free fly training and speech training. Lack of service will cause problems such as pluck, bitting, and shouting which will invite stress to bird owners. Macaw categorized as an endangered species, most macaw require a license or permit from Malaysia Wildlife Department for macaw conservation to be done properly and control the number of this bird in Malaysia. 'New owners must first learn how to care for a new macaw because each macaw needs a different way of caring. The size of the cage, feeding, service, cleanliness, environment and most importantly the owner’s commitment to caring for the macaws', according to statement from Kuala Lumpur FreeFly released on 10 April.
