Athletes compete during the OTILLO Swimrun World Championship 2022 from Sandhamn, a small settlement in the central-peripheral part of the Stockholm Archipelago to Uto, a small island in the East of Stockholm archipelago, on September 5, 2022. 320 athletes from 21 nations competed in the 2022 Swimrun competition that was born from a bet. It is a team-sport based on two persons. The team members are linked with a few meter long leash and have to compete a total of 65.1 km running and 9.5 km swimming in water temperature around 17c from island to island.
