Right after the death of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II was announced, clove growers from the southern region of Turkey are trying to keep up with the demands. According to the regional growers the demand for cloves, especially in England, has increased by almost 90 percent. The British monarch's death had prompted an increase of hired workers and working hours to send more than 1.5 million flowers for the Queen's funeral and the people's mourning.
