Yemenis have vehicles colored in green in preparation for celebrations of the birthday of the prophet Muhammad a day after a UN-brokered truce expired, in Sana'a, Yemen, 03 October 2022. The Houthis have announced the end of a UN-brokered nationwide truce after the warring parties in Yemen failed to reach an agreement to extend the truce that expired 02 October. UN envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg called on the Houthis and the Saudi-backed Yemeni government to refrain from acts of provocation as the consultations continue.
