A floating guava market in the country's southern Barisal district, Known as “The Venice of Bengal”, is now abuzz with buyers and sellers in Swarupkathi, Barisal, Bangladesh on August 16, 2022 as the harvest of guava is on its peak. Nobody knows when the idea of this floating market began, but it's a hundred-year old tradition.
