Planet's satellite imagery of the Home Reef Volcano in Tonga, where earlier this week, researchers noticed new seismic activity and venting. This high resolution SkySat image captured on September 14, 2022. Home Reef is an ephemeral island built by a submarine volcano whose top has repeatedly broken the surface and afterwards was eroded away by wave action.
