Bangladeshi passengers cross the Buriganga river as they hold umbrellas during a heavy rain and rough condition caused by cyclone Sitrang in Dhaka, Bangladesh, 24 October 2022. According to the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) and Bangladesh Meteorology Department, inland water transport has been suspended as the approaching cyclone Sitrang is expected to cross the South-Southwest part of Barishal and Chattogram district by 25 October.
