A weather scientist sends a balloon in the air, on December 25, 2022, at the basement located on the Kerguelen Island, also known as the Desolation Islands, a group of islands in the sub-Antarctic. They are among the most isolated places on Earth, located more than 3,300 kilometres from Madagascar.
